<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure superior fitting strength and moisture-proof property, to enable incineration after discard without damaging an incinerator, to attain the lowering of strength or degradation due to microorganisms, light or heat in the natural world and to prevent the occurrence of environmental problem by using a degradable polymer having a sorcified water absorption and a specified modulus of flexural elasticity. SOLUTION: The degradable polymer used as the base material of the cap of a container for a photographic sensitive material has <=6%, preferably <=1% water absorption so as to maintain the airtightness of the container and the quality of a photographic sensitive material housed in the container. The degradable polymer has 1,000-6,000 kgf/cm2, preferably 2,000-4,500 kgf/cm2 modulus of flexural elasticity so as to ensure fitting strength and suitability to easy opening necessary for the cap. The desired notch Izod impact strength of the degradable polymer at 23 deg.C is >=0.8 kg.cm/cm.</p> |
