PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet coil component at a low cost which is thin and excellent in performance. SOLUTION: A copper plate coil or a substrate coil is stacked on a resin base having pin terminals in end portions, interposing an insulating sheet 1 between the coil and the base, and a sheet coil component is constituted by clamping a core from above and below. In the insulating sheet 1, a hollowed out part 2 or a recessed part 2 is formed in a part which each coil conductor faces, and a through hole 3 having the same form as a center leg of the core is formed in the center part. The sheet size is so set that the end portion does not come into contact with the solder connection parts of pin terminals 27. The copper plate coil is formed by winding a belt type copper plate one or more turns in a flat and spiral type. By working the hole in the insulating sheet 1, capacitance between wirings can be reduced, and noise is reduced. By making end portions of the insulating sheet 1 escape from the solder connection parts, the swelling of the parts can be reduced, and a product can be thinned.
