PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector capable of detecting with uniform sensitivity in wide-range energy. SOLUTION: This radiation detector uses a semiconductor capable of detecting radiation as first and second detection elements 8, 9 having different areas of radiation incident surfaces, while the first detection element 8 having the small area of the radiation incident surface is placed above the radiation incident surface of the second detection element 9 having the large area of the radiation incident surface. The radiation detector has first and second radiation absorption filters 14, 15 respectively covering the radiation incident surfaces of the respective detection elements 8, 9, while a radiation absorption amount of the first radiation absorption filter 14 for the first detection element 8 positioned above is smaller than a radiation absorption amount of the second radiation absorption filter 15 for the second detection element 9.
