发明名称 Assembly for jet needling fabric piecegoods has additional deflection rollers for the fabric to be subjected to controlled water jet sprays on both sides using the same support roller
摘要 The appts. for jet needling fabric piecegoods, where the fluid is sprayed at the moving fabric, has deflection rollers for a smooth fabric movement in addition to the fabric delivery and take-off systems (6,10,10',11,11',11). Above the jet beams (4) at the permeable fabric support rollers (2,3), at least two of the further deflection rollers (14-16) are initially unused and are not covered by the fabric (5), to lead the fabric (5) over the jet beams (4) when required, to the outlet side of the first support roller (2) when it rotates in an initial direction (17). The fabric (5) is returned to the first support roller (2), while it rotates in a second direction (19) for the front surface of the material to lie against the roller while the rear side is subjected to water sprays, so that both sides of the fabric (5) are exposed to water sprays using the same support roller (2). The continuous fabric (5) is carried to the entry side of the support roller (2,3), over its whole length or only the starting section while the support rotates in one direction (17) with an intensive water spray action on the fabric (5) on the same support roller (2,3). The fabric (5) can be inverted, so that both sides are treated with water sprays at the same support roller (2,3). The fabric delivery and take-off systems (6,10',11',11) are on the same side of the support rollers (2,3) which carry the fabric (5). Additional deflection rollers (21) carry the fabric (5) from the support rollers (2,3) back to the start side. A further system (12) transports a continuous fabric length from the exit to the entry side. The fabric take-off (10) is at the exit side of the assembly, and the fabric delivery (6) is at the entry side, for the fabric (5) to pass round the support rollers (2,3). The wound fabric is transported (12) back to the entry side. Fabric rolls (6,10,10',11,11',11) act as the delivery and take-off units, or they are fabric stacking systems which also act as the fabric transport to hold the start and end for movement in a circuit for water needling. The fabric can also be carried by a continuous conveyor belt, where the material is folded into pleats on the belt as it is laid, and is drawn off continuously from the laid pleated structure. The fabric can also be pleated into a J-box, to be drawn off continuously. A fabric tension control (9) is at the fabric laying and/or take-off units, which also acts as a suction or press unit. The fabric support can be a pair of press rollers, which also move the fabric through the assembly. The fabric support rollers (2,3) are pref. mesh rollers, each fitted with more than one jet beam (4,4'). The support rollers (2,3) operate so that the same fabric side is processed at the two rollers (2,3) in succession.
