A process for the microencapsulation of moisture sensitive propellants, explosives and oxidizing agents, preferably ammonium dinitramide (ADN) or ammonium nitrate (AN), comprises: (1) coating the particles with a thin layer of a waxy material with the exclusion of moisture, and (2) encapsulating the coated particles with an amine resin layer. An Independent claim is included for the microencapsulated particles.
