The cable device (23) has an electrical cable (25) extending between a rotor mast (15) and a relatively movable rotor blade (17), provided with a coiled cable section for accommodating the relative movement. A thorn (37) projects into the coiled cable section, for acting as an end stop for the latter on the opposite side to the cable mast. An Independent claim for a helicopter rotor blade provided with an electrical cable is also included.
