A clock generator (1.1) is fed back so as to oscillate and supply its output with alternating square-wave voltage creating a bridge rectifier (1.3) and a current across electrodes (1.2) that is held in an emulsion. This rectified current then causes a voltage drop of U=R.I in a precision resistor (1.4). This voltage is a measuring tool for a concentration of emulsion. Putting the voltage range after a Zener diode (1.5) shows a clearer change.
