The table has a base element (10) fixable to the main body of a microscope. A first motion element (20) moves in relation to the base element in a first direction at right angles to which a second motion element (30) is movable. A first (40) and second (50) rotary control on the base element are movable round the first and second motion elements respectively. A first and second drive control is positioned between a first rotary control and the first motion element, and between a transmission arrangement (70) and the second motion element respectively. The transmission arrangement, coaxial with the rotary shaft on the base element, transmits torque to the second rotary control.
