A heating and/or air-conditioning installation for the inner chamber of a car can be at least partially integrated in the dashboard and contains a motor-fan unit which has a housing available that accommodates a fan wheel driven by a motor in order to induce an air flow. The housing (16) of the motor-fan unit (14) comprises a detachable section (26) that can be separated from a fixed part (24) of the housing and is located near a wall (36) of the dashboard (10) so that it is possible to get hold of the fan wheel and motor after at least one section of the dashboard is dismantled.
