The rake has a frame with stationary and moveable blades, which have stepped surfaces facing the flow and each form a grating. The stepped surfaces of the gratings (1,2) have a vertical part with profiling at right angles to the longitudinal direction, so that the support contact width is enlarged relative to the step height. The profiling is formed by steps. Connected to the stepped section of the rake is a sloping part (8) with an angle relative to the vertical opposite to the inclination of the rake.
