The display device (210) comprises a plurality of multi-sided, rotatable display elements (214), each side or pan el bearing a visual image (218). The display elements are selectively rotated, preferably in groups, according to a predetermined sequence such that a message or story unfolds, step by step, to the viewer as different panels ar e displayed.
