Watch casing (2) has connections to which the strap attaches. The connections are formed from the ends (10a',10a'',10b',10b'') of two brackets (10a,10b). The brackets are shaped to have areas (11a,11b) in which the watch is held. The ends of the brackets have bored holes (12a-12d) for accommodation of mounting rods (13). The ends of the rods have an outer thread (14) for fastening to the brackets.
