The electric circuit is formed as a differential amplifier circuit, and includes a photodiode (1) connected to the base of the first transistor (3). A capacitor (5) is connected between the emitters of the two transistors (3,6). Preferably the base of one transistor is earthed. The circuit may be connected to an output stage. The circuit may be part of the signal processing stage of the receiver of a light box.
