<p>The invention relates to a cross-country ski boot with a collar (2) which is pivotally mounted by means of hinges (4) on a shaft (3), and a device (10) for retaining the active collar (2) extending from an angular position (0) in an exclusively anterioposterior direction by means of a fixed stop (9) which is disposed on the shaft (3). The invention is characterized in that the retaining device (10), which is arranged in the rear part (8) of the boot, comprises a bearing means (11) which can be adjusted between two different positions in relation to the fixed stop (9), whereby one position places the bearing means (11) in such a way that it cooperates with the latter and the other position causes it to retract. The invention enables a single type of cross-country ski boot (6) to be adapted to two different skiing techniques such as diagonal striding and ski skating.</p> |
