The mouse pad (1) comprises a base body (3) with a covering layer (5) on which the mouse (2) is placed. The covering layer is formed as a micro-fibre web. The micro-fibre web may be repeatedly removed or attached to the base body. The web may be attached by a hook fastener, the hook section (4) being fixed to the base body, and the micro-fibre web forming the loop section.
