RELEASE LINERS FOR PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE LABELS

A release liner (32) for use with face stocks for pressure sensitive labels, tapes, decals and other products formed from sheet and roll stock. A filled polymer (12) is laminated to one side of a paper web (14). An extrudate (24) is laminated to the other side of the paper substrate (14) to form a release liner (32). The filled polymer (12) has paper-like properties and replaces paper tissue back liners.
