The radiation detector has a radiation transducer (2) coupled to at least one electronic measuring device (1), for amplifying the electrical signals representing the incident radiation. The electronic measuring device is mounted on a bearing plate (4) via an oscillation damping device (3), of a soft elastic material, e.g. damping strips, for preventing oscillation during operation of the computer tomography device.
