The roller (1) consists of at least two parts to which fixtures (2) are fixed for attaching the roller to the door or window on one side and to the frame on the other side. The roller is enclosed by a sleeve (3) which coaxially slides along the roller. Part (4) of the sleeve, coated with adhesive material, is pressed against the roller. A cap placed on the sleeve as an extension to the roller slides coaxially along the roller. A ring is placed all round the rim of the sleeves.
