A waterproof breathable sock comprising an outer waterproof breathable layer, an inner absorbent layer and a rubber sole, with circular pumps for circulating air around the foot. The absorbent layer is adapted to draw water away from the foot, allowing it to evaporate away through the breathable outer layer. The pumps are worked by the pressing action, the wearer imparts on the sole during walking, drawing air into the sock, and then circulating it round the sock. |
