<p>A power transmission mechanism capable of connecting a drive source to a compressor so that a power can be cut off, comprising a pulley rotated in synchronous with the drive source and a bearing member rotated in synchronous with a drive shaft of the compressor, wherein a limit spring connects the pulley integrally rotatably with the bearing member, when a load torque of the compressor exceeds a specified value, the limit spring is reduced in diameter and engaged with a rib provided on the bearing member, and the deformation of the limit spring in radial direction is limited locally and a stress is increased suddenly at a specific position of the limit spring, whereby the limit spring is broken positively near a desired load torque so that a satisfactory power cut off can be realized. <IMAGE></p> |
