brewing industry. SUBSTANCE: malt crusher has casing, driving and driven rolls, roll gap adjusting unit, and indicator with scale and point. Driving and driven rolls are mounted inside casing and interconnected through two gears with different number of teeth. Roll shafts are extending in horizontal plane. Roll gap adjusting unit is made in the form of U-shaped lever connected to driven roll shaft. U-shaped lever arms are positioned perpendicular to roll rotation shafts and are fixed in casing for rotation inside it. Indicator point is connected to U-shaped lever. Lever arms define angle of 90 plus and minus 10 deg. Crusher of such construction is effective in crushing of malt containing solid mechanical inclusions. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 dwg
