mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has handle with two springy fork-shaped levers fixed to handle end. Levers may be secured in openings of cleaning equipment by clamping mechanism provided with manipulator and control member made in the form of cam and positioned between levers. Control member has portions brought into contact with levers for turning and releasing them outwards or retracting them inward. Contact portions of control member are positioned on at least two supporting parts mounted for rotation and rolling over levers, when control member is repositioned. Supporting parts are formed as supporting rolls or supporting rollers and are positioned in diametrically opposed relation to point of revolution of cam member. Supporting parts are in contact with levers along major part of cam member rotation portion. Annular recess on outer surface of supporting parts serves guide for levers. Device of such construction may be detachably fixed on handle of cleaning equipment, such as broom, brush or like facilities, and may be readily readjusted even after prolonged usage.
