The joint protocol terminal receives signal message from transmitting network. The message contains information regarding communication services which is to be performed by receiving network. Output message formatting mechanism has net adaptive translator (306) that reformats signal message in net adaptive protocol. The net adaptive protocol is used by terminals for communication within receiving network. An Independent claim is also included for method for simplifying management of services in communication network.
