The invention pertains to the machines for straightening and cutting of wire on measured lengths. It can be used for manufacturing of rollers in chain production. The object of the invention is obtaining the geometrical accuracy of the blank to be cut and high quality of surface has been cut. Figure 1 represents a general view of the offered machine for cutting of rod material. It comprises a straightening unit (38), a feeding unit (40), a cutter tooling unit with knives (10), driving cams (22, 29, 30) and transmission devices connecting the cams (22, 29, 30) with tooling. Every device represents a hinged double-armed lever (24 and 32). One of the arms has a roller (23, 31) for the interaction with cams (22, 29, 30); the other one has a stop for interaction with tooling. The essence of the invention is the following: the cutters have the shape of semibushes. One of them is fixed rigidly on the tooling unit (10). The other three semibushes are mounted on sliders with possibility to move in guides. The semibushes interact mutually through the set of elastic elements mounted in pushers (35). Said elastic elements are set up also to ensure the possibility of clamping force adjustment. Besides the possibility of semibushes interacting with double-armed levers (24 and 32), the opposite ends of which are in contact with driving mechanism cams (22, 29 and 30), is ensured. The machine described above permits to achieve the object of the invention.
