The invention relates to a device for indicating prices, article descriptions and similar information on merchandise supports in department stores and warehouses. Said device is characterized by a graphic display device which comprises energetically bistable image cells and therefore has to be supplied with energy only when the image content changes. The display device mounted on the merchandise support comprises an image field which consists of parallel display channels. At least two contrasting fluids are delivered to the display channels (5) by alternately operating micropumps in accordance with the image content to be generated, the necessary image quality being ensured by a phase-locking loop into which the micropumps and measurement sensors are incorporated. The parallel display channels (5) are arranged independently of each other and connected to a common separator for both fluids. A common flow meter serves all display channels.
