The present invention relates to an automatic machine for cutting raw meat products into slices of predetermined weight. The machine comprises a housing (1) for a piece of meat (2), cutting means (3) able to obtain a plurality of slices from the piece of meat (2), feeding means (4) between the piece of meat (2) and the cutting means (3) and means (5) for removing the slices obtained from the automatic machine. Moreover, the machine of the present invention originally comprises means (6, 11) for compressing the piece (2) able to distribute uniformly the piece itself inside the housing (1) and to make it assume, and maintain during the cutting operation, a substantially parallele-piped shape. |
