SUBSTANCE: electric charge is distributed over part of surface of artificial satellite in order to obtain control torque acting on artificial satellite during its motion in geomagnetic field. To obtain steady attitude control of artificial earth satellite, magnitude of charge and coordinate of center of charge relative to center of mass of artificial earth satellite are changed in agreement taking into account gravitational disturbances and dampening of oscillations of artificial earth satellite.
