<p>A protective cover of storage media which assuredly protects the front surface of storage media such as CD from being damaged, can be installed on the storage media when it is loaded into a storage input/output device, and is detachable without affecting the operation of the storage media, the whole protective cover (1) being formed integrally of polypropylene so as to protect a CD (Compact Disk) (2), comprising a surface protective part (11) fitted closely to the rear surface (21) of the CD (2), an outer peripheral covering part (12) covering the outer peripheral part (22) of the CD, a locking claw (15) folded up slightly to a front surface (25) side through the inner periphery of the cover, a center hole (13) slightly larger than the diameter of a latch engaging hole (23) of the CD (2), and an adhesive part (14) around the center hole (13), wherein the outer peripheral part (22) of the CD (2) is fitted closely into the outer peripheral covered part (12), the locking claw (15) presses the edge portion of the front surface (25), and the adhesive part (14) is adhered to a center nonwritable part (24).</p> |
