<p>The present invention provides methods for introducing a biologically active agent into cells of a subject by introducing the agent in a form suitable for electrotransports into a region of tissue of the subject using one or more needle free injectors (2, 4), and applying a pulsed electric field to the region of tissue, thereby causing electroporation. The combination of a needle free injection by needle free injectors (2, 4), and electroporation by creating electrical fields with electrode (14) is sufficient to introduce the agent (6, 8) into the cell.</p> |
