The stick of the cleaning device is movable joined to the basic plate (16) by a cross member (14), which can be kept in a rigid position by a case (3), slid along the stick, if required. The rectangular shaped basic plate (16) is made of two halves (1a,1b), which are equipped with cloth holding facilities. A flap (5) can be opened by stepping on a button (2), one of the cloth (50) is guided around one outer end (1a) of the basic plate (16) and inserted into a groove (41), positioned on the upper side of the basic plate (16) where it can be fixed with an elastic element (40), located at the lower side of the flap (5), which matches the shape of the groove (41). The procedure is repeated at the opposite end of the basic plate (1b) until the cloth (50) is safely attached to the cleaning device.
