DISINFECTING AND STERILISATION AGENTS BASED ON XENON COMPOUNDS

The present invention relates to the use of xenon difluoride as a base for a disinfecting and sterilisation agent used in the field of sanitary techniques and medical industrial hygiene. The purpose of this invention is to develop disinfecting and sterilisation agents having a simple composition and based on xenon compounds which are less toxic and more efficient than the ones used in prior art. The method essentially involves using as chemical reactants compositions of aqueous solutions of inorganic xenon compounds (xenon difluoride and xenon trioxide) as well as hydrogen peroxides in concentrations sufficient for killing spores, bacteria, fungi and viruses but harmless for medical staff and with little corrosive activity.
