An installation for production of compost from urban sewage is new. The installation for production of compost from urban sewage comprises the sewage entry part, with means to separate non-organic material, compost production block and means for storage and/or transport of produced compost. Compost production block comprises first sealed zone in form of tunnel to which the material to be composted is disposed, with means of forced air circulation and means for taking data based on samples taken from the bottom, and second zone containing open biofilter through which the air coming from the first zone circulates across filtrating material. First and second zone have false bottoms for forced circulation of air.
