The invention concerns the burn-in and testing of subsassemblies of electrical devices. It concerns a burn-in machine for subassemblies each comprising an adhesive film and several keyboard elastic domes, the machine comprising two relatively mobile parts and a control device. One of the parts comprises a printed circuit (14) designed to be in contact with parts of the elastic domes and to determine, for each dome, the electrical characteristics, and the other part comprises a sufficient number of sensors (20) to operate on all the domes, each sensor (20) applying a calibrated force to the corresponding dome and providing a response which depends on the elastic characteristic of the corresponding dome. The invention is useful for making keyboards.
