A single-mode fibre-optic light guide is positioned at a point (2) towards the center of a gradient-index lens (3) by means of piezo positioning regulators. Light is fed via a lens system into the opposite side (4) of the gradient-index (GRIN) lens for positioning, so that an intensity maximum measured by a detector occurs at the point to be connected to the single mode fibre-optic light guide by fusion.
