The fixing device has a holder (1) for the ultrasound converter and a receiving sector (6) on the bumper (2) to receive the holder. The holder has a flange-like attachment (4) on its side facing towards the bumper. There is a projection (9) on the attachment. The receiving sector has a passage (7) into which the projection can at least partly be inserted.
