PNEMATIC RADIAL TIRE WITH IMPREOVED RADENESS

PURPOSE: A pneumatic radial tire is provided to effectively absorb and damp a shock from a sidewall by improving a structure of a bead pillar. CONSTITUTION: Protrusions for absorbing shock(25) are formed in both faces(20,21) of a bead pillar(2). An installing height of the protrusion(25) is within 1/3-2/3 of the entire height of the bead pillar. A width of the protrusion is within 25-45% of a width of the bead pillar. A length of the protrusion is within 0.5-3.0mm. Shock to be generated by contacting a tread of a tire with a road surface is transferred to the bead pillar(2) through a sidewall. The shock is almost absorbed by the protrusions(25).
