PURPOSE: A carry cluster adder is provided to maintain a high operation speed although a bit number is extended. CONSTITUTION: A carry cluster adder comprises a plurality of addition modules(100,110,120,130), a carry generator(200) and a plurality of increment modules(300,310,320). The addition modules(100,110,120,130) outputs propagate signals, carry signals and partial addition signals by adding a 1st addition operator to a 2nd addition operator irrespective of a generation of a carry. The carry generator(200) receives the propagate signals and the carry signals from the addition modules(100,110,120,130), and output an input carry of the next group. The increment modules(300,310,320) outputs the partial addition signals from the addition modules(100,110,120,130) or incremental signals added to the partial addition signals by one in response to the output signals of the carry generator(200).
