PURPOSE: A heat exchanger is provided to reduce cost and volume of heat exchanger by improving heat exchange performance of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger wherein a refrigerant flows along a pipe(3), a fin(4) for extending thermal exchange area is arranged outside the pipe, and heat dissipation is performed by an air flow, a rod(6) is inserted into the pipe where a refrigerant flows, so as to thereby reduce sectional area within the pipe where the refrigerant flows. The fin is made up of an aluminum alloy sheet. Thus, a pipe having a large diameter is used for an air cooled heat exchanger for a condenser in a small sized refrigerator or hot/cold water purifier.
