PURPOSE: A method for producing an I shape connector for a vehicle is provided to improve the preciseness and durability of a product and to maximize productivity by saving time, labor force, costs and production processes. CONSTITUTION: A material(12) having a certain thickness is cut into a calculated length. The material of an opening concaved shaped section is made up in a first metal mold(6) in a process of making an outer frame with the metal mold and a hammer. A material of a side convex section is made up in a second metal mold. Then, an I shaped connector is produced by forming a step type hole(14) on a rod(18) part with a cooling forge method to form an i shaped section.
