PURPOSE: An electrode plate for lithium ion battery and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve a characteristic of an electrode plate by using a solvent system for coating a polyimide resin with a rubber material. CONSTITUTION: An electrode plate for lithium ion battery and a method for manufacturing the same comprises a pantograph material and an active material layer formed on the pantograph material. The active material layer comprises an electrode active material layer, a polyimide resin as a first combination material, and a rubber material as a second combination material. On the active material layer, the density of the polyimide resin of an area not contacted with the pantograph material is reduced than the density of the polyimide resin of another area contacted with the pantograph material. In addition, on the active material layer, the density of the rubber material of an area not contacted with the pantograph material is reduced than the density of the rubber material of another area contacted with the pantograph material.
