PURPOSE: Structure of opening and closing a microwave oven door is provided to open the door after completely eliminating residual light in a halogen lamp. CONSTITUTION: By pushing a door opening button, a driving motor(20) is rotated to clockwise for rotating a driving gear to the clockwise. Thus, an opening and closing lever(24) engaged with a rack(24b) engaged with a tooth portion(22a) is moved to upward. Then, an upper portion(24c) of the lever moves a latch member(30) to upward. Therefore, the latch member is lifted for moving latches(32,34) to upward. Thus, combined state with hanging portions(42a,42b) of a microwave oven main body is released. The latches are separated from the hanging portions to turn off door switches(44a,44b). Therefore, a door(D) is opened. Herein, a driving force by the driving motor operated by opening signal of the door is delayed in transfer through a driving gear(22), the lever, and the latch member.
