PURPOSE: An engine valve device is provided to allow a valve to be operated and controlled in an easy way by simplifying the structure of the valve, and reduce noise caused upon operating the valve. CONSTITUTION: An engine body(100) is constituted by a cylinder head(110) which couples an inlet valve(113) and an outlet valve(116) installed at an inlet(111) and an outlet(112) of the cylinder head, respectively, the cylinder head having at a center thereof an ignition plug(119), and a cylinder block(120) arranged beneath the cylinder head and where a piston(122) is coupled to a crankshaft through a connector rod(123). The inlet valve and the outlet valve coupled to the inlet and outlet of the cylinder in such a manner as to be opened/shut off are spherical valves. In addition, an inlet groove(115) and an outlet groove(118) are formed at predetermined portion of the inlet valve and outlet valve, respectively.
