PURPOSE: A tank insulating method is provided to reduce a work time and to install a tank easily by heat insulation of the tank through spraying. CONSTITUTION: A foreign matter is eliminated from the surface of tank and then urethane space bars(1,4) are mounted at regular intervals on the tank. A urethane sprayed(2) is mounted to the upper edge from the lower one of the tank and a steel plate(3) is set on a tank shell(8) and a roof. The tank is insulated in heat by a urea rim spray coating(5). The urethane spray(2) is foamed on the surface of the tank by a foaming machine. The foaming machine consists of a pump, a central control unit and a high-pressure heating hose.
