PURPOSE: A battery case of an electric appliance having a tensioning portion is provided to prevent the battery from moving by forming projections at an inner side of the tensioning portion of the battery case. CONSTITUTION: A battery case(30) of an electric appliance comprises a T-shaped tensioning portion(31). Projections(32a,32b) are formed at both sides of an inner portion of the T-shaped tensioning portion(31). By the T-shaped tensioning portion(31), the battery can be stably and closely accommodated in the battery case(30) of the electric appliance. The projections(32a,32b) are positioned higher than a horizontal surface of the battery case(30), so the tension is generated from the T-shaped tensioning portion(31) proportional to the height of the projections(32a,32b), thereby securely fixing the battery.
