PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost by utilizing an application method using a slurry when forming an MgO layer. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a plasma display panel comprises the steps of: preparing a slurry including a predetermined mixture and an MgO dispersion solution with dispersed fine MgO particles in order to form an MgO layer(33) for protecting electrodes on an upper face of a dielectric layer(32); applying the slurry on an upper face of dielectric layer in order to form an MgO layer; drying the MgO layer; and rising a surface of the substrate. The mixture is formed with a solvent, a binder, and a photosensitive material. |
