System of transmission, receiver and interconnected network

Programmable architecture for connecting different calculation modules in a transmission system for high data rates. The receiver has a direct communication chain and a return path and the architecture allows local communication between neighboring calculation modules. The network is comprised of a suite of programmable cells incorporating memory for storage of data moving between modules.
