PURPOSE: A vacuum self-priming pump is provided to pump high viscous liquid and residue of foods together with preventing overload of a motor and the damage of an impeller by increasing the suction force and chopping the residue with saw blades of the impeller wings. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum self-priming pump includes an impeller(10) having wings in a radial manner and one side closed by a partition, wherein saw blades are formed in the lateral end part of the wings in rotary direction of the motor for chopping the sucked residue, an internal casing(2) having a space to incorporate the impeller in the inside for being attached to the axial direction of a motor(1) by a jointing bolt, and an external casing(3) attached to the internal casing by a plurality of jointing bolts and gaskets with having a U shape transfer groove(6).
