PURPOSE: A reciprocating engine is provided to prevent environmental contamination by eliminating generation of exhaust gas, and obtain a power higher than that of an electric motor car. CONSTITUTION: A reciprocating engine comprises upper and lower electromagnetic force generating units(10,20), a reciprocating member unit(110) having an iron core(80) and a guide coupling member(100) formed at both blades of the reciprocating member unit, a main body unit(120) having a guide rod(90) coupled with the guide coupling member of the reciprocating member unit, the guide rod being arranged to be slidable, the first connecting rod(50) and the second connecting rod for connecting a crank arm and the reciprocating member unit, and a control unit for supplying and distributing a power to the upper and lower electromagnetic force generating units. |
