PURPOSE: A communication operation method in a communication system is provided so that an originator provide specific number or digit information by removing DTMF signal and digital signal corresponding to the information of number in a communication system based on the WLL system or the PCS/cellular CDMA system. CONSTITUTION: A CPU checks in a cycle of 5 msec whether a DTMF signal is inputted from a fixed terminal through a strobe terminal or an available terminal(ST1). The CPU discriminates whether there is a strobe signal in the strobe terminal(ST2). If there is the strobe signal, the CPU regards it as what the DTMF signal was inputted, and disconnects or switches off a voice path provided to a radio section between a radio interface unit and an exchange during a preset time(ST3). However, if there is no strobe signal in the strobe terminal, the CPU keeps the voice path as it is(ST4). In case that there is the strobe signal, the CPU confirms whether it is a DTMF signal having a length of more than 40 msec(ST5). If it is the DTMF signal having a length of more than 20 msec, the CPU sends the exchange a message that a DTMF signal has been generated(ST6).
