PURPOSE: A color bar pattern signal generating circuit is provided to remove an interference between color signals by controlling the color signals respectively and controlling a phase delay between the color signals. CONSTITUTION: A binary divider circuit(41) divides a master clock frequency signal and a reset clock signal. An odd-numbered divider circuit(42) is connected to the binary divider circuit(41) and obtains a division output capable of being a synchronous concurrence in response to an output of the binary divider circuit. An even-numbered divider circuit(43) is connected to the odd-numbered divider circuit(42) and has a division function, so as to have a color bar frequency, in response to the reset clock signal and an output of the odd-numbered divider circuit(42). A phase correcting circuit(44) corrects a phase difference of each color signal in response to an output of the even-numbered divider circuit(43). A synchronous concurrence circuit(45) makes an output of the circuit(44) be identical with a composite blocking signal. A level adjusting part(46) controls a coordinate and an amplitude in response to an output of the synchronous concurrence circuit. A color signal processing circuit(48) receives a carrier frequency to process a color signal. An encoder(47) encodes outputs of the circuits(46,48) and separates brightness and color signals to output a synthesis image signal.
